Microsoft will update the Windows 10 feature twice a year

From now on, Microsoft will provide updates twice a year with new features for the Windows 10 operating system. The company plans to release major updates for Windows 10 in March and September each year. Since the Windows 10 update (Creators Update) has already been released once this year, the next update is expected in September.

According to a Microsoft blog post, each of these feature updates will provide service and support for up to 18 months.

This announcement also applies to the Microsoft Office 365 Proplus package. In other words, Microsoft will also update twice a year for Office 365 Proplus software.

Although Microsoft has not yet announced the official name of the next Windows 10 update, the name Redstone 3 is being heard in public. In the meantime, the Windows Insider version has got some new features, such as 'Windows Power Throttling' to save power in the background app.
