Apple is taking back the MacBook Pro

Apple has announced the recall of several MacBook Pro laptops sold between September 2015 and February 2017. Last Thursday, the company said that the batteries of the devices were overheated and there was a risk of fire. News Bloomberg.

The statement advised the technology giant not to use the MacBook Pro laptop purchased within the stipulated time. The 15-inch display version of the much older MacBook Pro laptop is said to have a battery defect. It is guaranteed that the batteries of the faulty devices will be replaced free of cost. The MacBook Pro laptop has reported no fire accident due to a battery fault.

The company said in a statement that a small number of older-generation 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops had their batteries heated, posing a security risk.

This is the second time this year that Apple has announced the return of its products. Last April, the company announced the recall of some of its wall plug adapters. These faulty plugs caused the risk of electrical shock. In addition, in the last few years, Apple has announced a large number of replacement programs. Earlier, however, the company had introduced a replacement program for a small number of 13-inch MacBook Pro laptop batteries and storage devices.

According to the report, this is the second time this year that a battery issue has occurred, but last month Apple device users complained of a keyboard error in several new laptops. At that time, the company offered free repair to the affected customers.
